What helmet has good goggle room?

Post by HrcRacing »

I finally got off my ass and went riding yesterday but my goggles were pinching the hell out of my nose. I have a Shoei V-Moto helmet and Scott High-Voltage goggles.

Do you guys know of a helmet that doesn't break the bank and offers good goggle room?

Thanks for your suggestions!

I like the Moto-8 and on clearance they aren't to expensive at all.

What about a HJC SPX like the one below? They advertise it as having a large eye port and they sell for around $180.00.

Anyone have any experience with HJC?

Yeah I like them a lot. They are really comfy too.

No clue on the HJC.

I got lucky for this weekend's ride. Called my brother and he had a brand new HJC CS-X4 and he gave it to me. Hell of a guy!

It has tons of goggle room so I'm good to go for now. I'm still diggin' one of those Bell helmets in the near future though.

Here's the helmet he gave me.

Keep the Shoei and try a different goggle. Those Voltage goggles have not fit right in my past 3 helmets. My favs are the new Smith's.They fit in My VFX-DT and My Suomy with no pinched nose problems.

I'd rather have a helmet with goggle room like this HJC but, if the Shoei doesn't sell, I'll definitely give the Smith's a try.

Thanks.
