the idiots at kawasaki didnt have 2 onces of common sense to put a little cover on the outside like the honda. so now, a 30min brainless total clutch job on a honda, is a all day project on the kawasuki, pulling the WHOLE right side of the motor off. pipe, brake lever, hoses, water pump components, everything. plus, then you have to replace all the fugging gaskets. and probly seals, after you disturb them and they wont go back in perfect where they were before. then you got a big oil slick on your garage floor from splitting the side off the motor. i dont want to get started on this pile of fuggin junk. DUMB ASSES

But, you get a cute little sight glass that allows to quick check your oil level! I never cared for the KX myself but some people think they are soooo much better than the CR. But, then again, some people stick animals up their butts.

I had YZ490s for years and absolutely LOVED the removable clutch cover on my 87 CR, the first time I had to check something on the clutch i removed half of the case bolts before I realised what the cover was for  :hiding:

Today at Brits house, he hands me a CR500 pipe and ask's:

" Do you know what kind this is ?"

I roll it over, and in 2" tall letters it says "NOLEEN"

Brit says....." Holy Shit, I never looked on that portion"
