do i have to explain everything to you bob ? jk man . you have to remeber typically 20:1 - 28:1 premix is used with alcohol. and another thing from the CT site: alcohol fuels have a wider air/fuel ratio tolerance for good power, methanol will make good power from a correct air/fuel ratio all the way up to a rich condition, there is no need to lean her out in search of power as you would with gasoline. hence you might have some smoke come out the pipe
