Well I had higher hopes for this race but one is bound to make a mistake sooner or later since its been a mistake free race year so far. After all I was makin all four doubles so I should be proud of myself.
Second lap of moto 1 I'm catching one I wanted to beat only to stall in a corner second lap, so much for that, My race friend goes by too, only to learn later that he got hung up in the gate. I finally pass him at the end of the last lap for 5th out of 9. A couple of the faster guys tangled so that helped.
Second moto a lousy start, second to last, so spend most of it trying a catch the other guy I wanted to beat, finally did at the begginning of the last lap. For 5th again. Oh well 5 and 5 out of 9.

Passing my friend, although I did it at the double before this which the top of it can be seen under the rear tires,

Three of the faster class in front, that first turn is always sketchier because of them.

and the rest from race #6. There are some good sequence shots of the start and passing my friend on page 5.

Hey Igg, didn't realize you were back this weekend. Bad weekend for us, my wifes (as well as Hellbears) grandfather isn't doing well and I needed to haul if I got the call. Potts got food poisoning, (he says anyway) and couldn't race, Mckane at least finished but I can't believe he was practically running a fricken speedway tire! I never would have allowed that if I were there. We're still leading the points thank God, a little hard work early in the game allows for days as such. I feel that we will do very well in a couple weeks, Glen Helen's our fastest track. You are racing the last two rounds right? Anyway, good job on making it back out, call me if you need anything!
Oh and one more thing......"Keep those damn elbows up old man!!!" hahaha.

Ya I wasn't planning on this race but figured I've been there four times lately and had a edge over most of the comp making the doubles I had to give it shot. I'll be at the last round, Sundays race and practice the thursday before.
Also I think John left early because of a neck whip lash in practice. That track has almost got me like that a couple of times.
See ya GH.

Randy from idiotboys shot some video of the starts. The first guy shown with #33 at age 57 is Proride Phil himself
My race is the 10th gate drop. Randy zooms in to the dog house guy, I'm thrid to the right of that.
