Not Really New
Not Really New
Hello,
I would not really consider myself a new member. I spent many years on the other board and joined here quite some time ago. I have yet to post since I rarely feel I have much to contribute.
I'm in my forties and have been riding since childhood, since my dad used to race enduros. I have had an AF since 2003 and have been on this board since sometime after I purchased it.
Today, I decided to post since I was in the Politics and Activism section and felt like I finally had somthing to contribute. I am the type of person who is not ashamed to admit that I don't know enough about something to form an opinion, but when I do form one you can be sure I can back it with solid factual information. That is why I posted for my first time today.
Anyway, It may be quite some time before I have anything else to contribute, if ever.
I would like to thank everyone on this board for providing excellent informantion regarding a great bike. While I much perfer this board to the other, both have provided me valuable information over the years....thanks again!

Yes, am still here. Every winter I ask myself "why the hell do I live here", then in the spring and summer I say, 'this is why."
I truely do love it here, although I am a little bit upset that what has always made Montana great is being destroyed by people moving in from out of state and trying to change the things that drew them here in the first place.
There are great places to ride here, but this is a big state and sometimes the places to ride are some distance. Over the years less and less private land owners are allowing us to ride.
