I just placed my first order with HPD and it doesn't look like I got the discount. I got the PM from Bob saying I had been added to the list on 8/19. The savings are small, but I'd still like to get it... if not this time, maybe next. Suppose I would have better luck calling or emailing them?

Not pissed/mad/upset one bit. I'd have prolly saved $5...just saying.

I thought I was. I remember logging in before I started adding stuff to the cart.

I recieved an email saying that the '89 center case gasket I ordered was discontinued, so I called and ordered one from a 90 something. Hopefully it'll work, I'm getting ready to split cases for the first time. Anywho, I asked for Craig when I called, but he was out for the day or something. If it happens again, I'll call again, but no big deal. Like I said, I'd have saved like $5.

Yea that's frustrating to me, I just called and talked to them about my order and I didn't receive a discount of any kind even though I am listed as a member and was logged in. And since the order was processed, there was no ability to apply the discount. I was told that on my next order I can leave a note saying something to the effect that I am due an additional 5 dollar discount per Thomas and that they would honor that plus the discount of that next order. Oh well, guess I need to go gargle some mouthwash, I seem to have a bad taste in my mouth. :bs:

Maybe they got something screwed up in your email addy cause I was listed as on the list but the underscore in my addy got mistaken for a space,I called them they fixed it on the spot and applied the discount to the order I had just placed, placed 3 orders since then without a problem
