I've had the bike up and running for the last week and have had endless fun blasting around my neighborhood scaring the kiddies.

Nice bike. You have to get a new muffler though!

Most definitely! I was just using that particular silencer to work out some fitment issues and to get the bike running.

Thanks! It rides fucking awesome too. But it'll be even better once I tighten the triple clamp up properly! :screwy:

Engine looks really low in the frame, compared to a Honda steelie...

A side by side comparison would be interesting. I guess I could dig the CR frame out of the garage this weekend and find out.

Otherwise, the motor really was kind of a tight fit into the 560SMR frame.

So I went out for a quick 'test and tune' around the neighborhood this evening and the mother fucking front tire went flat on me. Shit. :mebeer:

Now I drink. Beer. Did I mention that I am on my 5th pint already?

Bobber-
my CR500 stand will barely hit the frame of my Katoom even fully extended.... My KTM has way more gound clearance.
Also, the motor seems to be taller. I've always thought the KTM/500 mod would kick ass!
