i have seen guys get a toyota starter from a junkyard an weld a socket on it and build it a handle. i have also seen a couple of starters used for go-karts on ebay.

love the "MEFAST" sticker on the pull starter!!! i built my own using a toyota starter and a starter button from checker, 2 inline 12 volt batteries bungeed to a dolly, sold it with my old xr600 climber.
btw polish and round the edges of your starter nut!! it aint pretty if the socket gets hung up on the nut. it also puts some nice dents in your case. and sounds like KA-thunk!- thunk -thunk., and ends in twisted wires and sparks. the pro built ones freewheel really nice so you dont have to worry about it but the old junkyard built ones can be stiff and hang up.
i dont own assault rifles, i own homeland defense rifles!!!!
