Basic lojack system $695 + tax installed.

My F-250 was stolen out of my driveway Friday evn., the 9th.
Early warming went off at about 2:05 a.m., but I didn't answer the phone.
Noticed it was gone at 5:30 am.
Called police, Recovered and in the impound yard by 8:30 am.

personally if one of my cars got stolen, I'd rather it was never recovered. My Dad had an oldsmobile that got stolen like 6 times in a year when he lived in buena park (the homies love those oldsmobiles) and everytime it was recovered stuff was missing; once without any wheels and tires, once missing the back seat and front fender, hell, one time he had to drop it off at the tire store with wires hanging out the steering column and he had to show the guys how to hotwire it! Same thing happeed to my mom's old camaro, $300 ignition stuff on a car worth less than $1000. I'd rather never see the damn things again and call up farmers in the morning and see how quickly I could get a check

It was found in East LA in 'The Projects" as the officer said. They stash em for a few days and watch em to see if they get recovered. If not, they retrieve it. I assume they disabled it to keep one of the other 'Homies' from nabbing it.britincali wrote:Most of the time with lojack they dont have time to strip the cars.
The CHP picked up the signal while cruising the 5 fwy. He called it in and released to the tow driver.
In the meantime, LAPD picked the signal, not knowing it had been released, called for backup.
About the time the tow driver has it loaded up and is getting ready to leave, 4 squad cars and a chopper show up and have him out and on the ground in a heartbeat.
Took awhile to get it cleared up.
Dispatcher said he was shaking like a leaf when he returned to the yard.
It's all good.britincali wrote:Nice story mad dog, if you dont mind im gonna print it and keep it at my desk
