well it's time gen 4 supermoto build

i got home today and figured i would put my front end together. i have taken everything apart too many times and bought useless shit i didnt need. im missing something but cant figure it out. pro taper cr-high contour bars, pro taper grips, pro taper aluminum throttle tube with internal bearing, applied tripple clamps upper and lower 22mm offset. asv levers, motomaster caliper and disk. and of course excel hoops with talon hubs. and pirelli slicks.

carb and boot. stock 450x airbox and boot. carb was turned a c hair and used a hairdrier and some wd-40. like butter. :cool: http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j192/ ... img004.jpg

You got a good start there, of course you will have to take it all apart again, but lookin' good! :D

well the only thing i will have to take off is the bar mount to tighten the steering head stem. i need more mac nuts and coffee i guess.

We only used the KY for you and a drum wasn't even enough because you said you were sensitive to the waterproof stuff!

Isn't that pogo stick missing bark buster/hand guards? Especially for Supermoto duty!

yeah im looking into it. I just want the bar and not all the plastic. the problem is that the protaper aluminum throttle tube has a bearing that slide in the bar so no way to attach it.

: bling :, Look on thumpertalk.com I know brian or bryan.. Had the cycra's on his with the protaper throttle with the bearing.. Also the bearing aint the greatest thing since sliced cheese anyhow... His kid dropped his bike in the garage one day and instant cruise control.. If i didnt catch it on the back of his truck he would have had one hellllluva day riding the next day.

How are we supposed to ride Mauna Kea if you're running friggin' slicks for cryin out loud??

I played hooky today so a few of us pre-ran a portion of the MK200 today. Pretty mellow, some ruts from the rain but NO DUST !!! Typical rocks from hell!
