250 kicker instead of 500 on 2002........

Post by pimp559 »

Is anyone here running a 250 kicker instead of the 500 with a FMF pipe on a 2002? I got the 500 kicker to fit well but would really rather run the 250 kicker because I like the look better (it's more PIMP) .

Iggy might best be qualified to answer this, but I can also chime in.....the 250 kicker is too short and makes starting the 500 a pretty major PITA due to a lack of mechanical advantage (leverage). I agree though, that it does look much better.

Thanks Shan, I was hoping for better news. :)

I think I would be better at starting it now if I put the 250 one back on. But I'm not cause the 500 one does have more leverage.

^^^^^!! my 500 kicker is too big, i'd like to see the difference between the two...and big deal if you waste two pair of boots a season kicking your bike...

I'll agree that the 500 kicker is easier to use than the 250.

But If want a 250 kicker I've got one that I will gladly trade for
your late model 500 kicker.
