the cardboard method is suited more for sand applications. if you ever rode the sand you know what i meen. the fewer joints/seals you disturb and undo, the better. but hey theres always gonna be people that dump the bowl all over the motor and undo the carb boots- im not here to change people way of doing things, just trying to add one more way of doing things for some of the new guys that arent mechanicaly knowledgableTJC510 wrote:ive loosened the carb and turn it just abit so you can get in with a nutdriver.
also, if you shut the gas off and lean the bike over, you can lose the cardboard and not let gas leak onto the cases.
