Drunk Fuk

Al Gore III was arrested early Wednesday morning on suspicion of DUI.

Now that is an inconvenient truth!

The former Vice President’s son, 24, was jailed after he was pulled over by police for about 100mph and having drugs - lots of drugs - in his car.

Hey, at least he was driving a hybrid vehicle!

Al Gore III was driving a blue Toyota Prius on the southbound San Diego (5) Freeway about 100 mph at bout 2:15 a.m. Wednesday morning when a sheriff’s deputy stopped him at the Crown Valley Parkway exit in Orange County. ( This is in ALISO VIEJO!!)

The deputy smelled marijuana and a search of the car turned up less than an ounce of suspected pot, along with prescription drugs including Valium, Xanax, Vicodin and Adderall.

Damn, that’s a mini pharmacy up in that eco-friendly car!

His son’s arrest comes at a very inconvenient time for the former Vice President. Al Gore is expected in New Jersey this weekend for the big Live Earth concert he helped organize.

This is not Al Gore III’s first brush with the law.

The troubled young man has quite the checkered history with drugs and illegal activity.

- In 1996, he was suspended from his high school for smoking marijuana.
- In August 2000, he was ticketed for reckless driving by North Carolina police for driving 94 mph.
- In September 2002, military police arrested him on suspicion of drunk driving near a military base in Virginia.
- In 2003, he was charged with marijuana possession in Maryland after police stopped the car he was driving for not having its headlights on.
- In February 2004, he entered a substance abuse program as part of a plea agreement.

Loser.......

The late John Denver nailed it.....

"Folk rock musician John Denver stated he was "strongly opposed to censorship of any kind in our society or anywhere else in the world", and that in his experience censors often misinterpret music, as was the case with his song "Rocky Mountain High". In addition, Denver expressed his belief that censorship is counterproductive: "That which is denied becomes that which is most desired, and that which is hidden becomes that which is most interesting, it becomes the censors obsession to keep that what the public demands from them.. Consequently, a great deal of time and energy is spent trying to get at what is being kept from you." Incidentally, when John came up to give his speech, many on the PMRC board expected him to side with them thinking he would be offended by the lyrics as well but instead defended them."

"The PMRC also released the "Filthy Fifteen", a list of the fifteen songs they found most objectionable:

# Artist Song title Lyrical content
1 Prince "Darling Nikki" Sex/Masturbation
2 Sheena Easton "Sugar Walls" Sex
3 Judas Priest "Eat Me Alive" Sex
4 Vanity "Strap on Robbie Baby" Sex
5 Mötley Crüe "Bastard" Violence
6 AC/DC "Let Me Put My Love into You" Sex
7 Twisted Sister "We're Not Gonna Take It" Violence
8 Madonna "Dress You Up" Sex
9 W.A.S.P. "Animal (Fuck Like a Beast)" Sex/Language
10 Def Leppard "High 'n' Dry (Saturday Night)" Drug and Alcohol Use
11 Mercyful Fate "Into the Coven" Occult
12 Black Sabbath "Trashed" Drug and Alcohol Use
13 Mary Jane Girls "In My House" Sex
14 Venom "Possessed" Occult
15 Cyndi Lauper "She Bop" Sex/Masturbation

The PMRC also advocated against supposed subliminal backmasking in records[2], and accused bands including Led Zeppelin, Rush, Pink Floyd and Queen of backmasking to promote Satanism and drug use."

Pretty racy stuff....

What could of these bored housewives been doing with their time, from 1986 to 1989?

Iran-Contra affair (1985-1986); Oliver North was convicted (1989) of accepting an illegal gratuity, aiding and abetting in the obstruction of a congressional inquiry, and destruction of documents, but the convictions were later (1990) overturned by appeals court.

Savings and loan scandal and the Keating Five (1980-1989): Alan Cranston, Dennis DeConcini, Don Riegle, John Glenn, and John McCain

Preferential treatment for military contractor Wedtech implicates Attorney General Edwin Meese and White House aide Lynn Nofziger (1987)

Robert Bernard Anderson former US Secretary of Treasury pleaded guilty to owning an offshore bank. (1987).

"Pothead jurist," 1987: President Reagan's first controversial nominee to replace Justice Powell was Judge Robert Bork. Judge Bork, who coincidentally had fired Archibald Cox in the Nixon-era Saturday Night Massacre, was rejected for his allegedly extreme judicial philosophy; the second nominee was Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg, who had to drop out of consideration after he admitted having smoked marijuana while a Harvard Law School professor.

Senator John Tower's nomination as Defense Secretary derailed due to allegations of habitual and extreme alcohol abuse and improper ties to defense industry (1987)

Mario Biaggi convicted (1988) in Wedtech scandal of bribery, extortion, racketeering, filing a false tax return, mail fraud, and false financial disclosure; resigned from U.S. House before he could be expelled
Speaker of the U.S. House Jim Wright from Texas forced to resign after ethics committee investigation found dozens of violations of House rules, including alleged improper receipt of $145,000 in gifts by Wright's wife from a Fort Worth developer and large profits from "sale" of Wright's speeches (1989)

Anthony Lee Coelho of California resigns from U.S. House for unethical finance practices including "junk bond" deal (1989)

Alcee Hastings, federal district court judge impeached (1989) and convicted of soliciting a bribe; subsequently elected (1992) to U.S. House

Then , as most hipocrites do, she has completly reversed herself...

"In 2000 the Gores did not make the mistake of antagonizing the left wing of the Democrat Party. Crusading against explicit music lyrics is no longer as high on Tipper’s list as fund-raising with former members of the Grateful Dead is. These days Tipper does not think twice about getting on stage and performing with former members of the Grateful Dead, a band who lost three members to drug induced deaths, all the while producing explicit drug-related music.

"Tipper Gore took the stage at San Jose, Calif., with former members of the Grateful Dead at a $1,000-a-plate fund-raiser for her husband Al Gore’s presidential campaign.

"‘He’s an old friend,’ guitarist Bob Weir said. ‘He’s a real human being and we’re going to support him.’

"Weir and percussionist Mickey Hart now lead the Flying Other Brothers Band. Tipper Gore got behind the conga drums, beating along to a rendition of Bob Dylan’s ‘Queen Jane,’ a song with cynical lyrics about political pandering and disloyalty." (emphasis added) (Seattle Post-Intelligencer, 4/8/99)

Tipper Gore has scaled back her fight against explicit rock music in an attempt to pander to the left wing of the Democrat Party. These days she is an honorary Deadhead, and like her husband, she will do anything to raise campaign cash."

.... Typical....

No 2-Live Crew in the top 15 songs. $hit, they should have been the entire 15.

Actually, "OPP" was done by Naughty By Nature, very tame compared to 2-Live Crew. Goggle them, see what you can find and give it a listen. :D Just make sure your kids aren't around

Boy I can still remember when those hearing went down. Zappa made them look like a bunch of clowns. It is so funny to watch the blood and "gore" all the time on TV which all seem fine and yet some great music was to be made seen if it was underground.
