A/F Roller for sale

Post by DPinDet »

Well ladies and gentlemen, I am moving on to a new project. I have recently acquired a 2004 CR250 for my next conversion. This means I am offering up my 2001 CR250/500 conversion for sale. This will be just the rolling chassis as I will be removing the engine w/carb, exhaust, ignition, and wiring for my new bike. The conversion was done by myself and all welding was done by a professional. Here are some details about the bike:

2001 Honda CR250 chassis
Gold Excel wheels W/gold Talon hubs
Renthal Bars
Bark busters
Dunlop F773 and R756 (2 rides)
48 Tooth sproket (2 rides)
Clark 3.0 gallon tank (0 rides)
Good brake pads
Forks serviced and .47KG springs installed

I want to offer it up to the hoons here before I put it on the Evil Bay auction block. Not sure what it is really worth so make me an offer. Here's some pics.

I suppose I could ship it. It would probably be costly though. Are you talking in many boxes or something like Forward Air ?

I'd say the bike is worth $3500 or more as a whole. Subtract $1500 for everything you're keeping and you've got your price.

That was kinda what I was thinking. I figured $1500 to a fellow hoon and a fast sale should do the trick.

Crap, somebody loan me $1500. I could pick it up today. Have pickup truck, can drive the half hour across town to get it.

Will you trade for a Postal Jeep? Need a set of big block Chrysler cylinder heads? :D

Sorry, don't have much use for the Jeep or the heads. Put the heads in the rear of the Jeep for traction in the snow. Now you've got something.

LOL. I have a couple cracked 350 Chevy blocks that would do just as good of a job. :D

Good luck selling it, I sent the link to my buddy with an '87 500 and unfortunately he's broke at the moment too.

That makes me concerned. Not that you did anything wrong, but without a title you never know what the other guy did! I sent you a pm so we can talk offline.

500 A/F ROLLER

Post by DPinDet »

Well, to be truely fair, Premix has first dibs. He had contacted me first and stated that he was pretty much gonna take it. The list is as follows:

1- Premix
2- Tadix
3- TyStyx

I will be fair and go down the list as the bike is available.

What's the big deal about no title? All you have to do is run the VIN.
