thanks guys!! I'll post up a pic or two in a few. I'm a little slow today, not much sleep.
Bob, I tried!! but the docs wouldn't do it until the 39th week unless she went into labor. My first one was 12/29, I gave the doc a hi-five for the tax cred.
Funny thing was that she didn't want to go to the hospital because she didn't think she was in labor. Our scheduled c-section was for tonight 1/7 at 5:30pm.
Anyway, we sat down for dinner at like 7 on friday and I noticed her complaining about stuff in 3 minute intervals, like shed get contractions either 12, 15, 18 or 9 minutes apart, but every 3 minutes in between she'd complain about a kick or him moving around too much. I kept notes and she made fun of me for it. Well, I told her we were going to the hospital and she said we were just going to get sent back home. When they hooked her up to the machine she was maxxing it out at 100 right when they plugged it in and she was like "oh, thats a contraction". they ended up being perfectly 3 minutes apart, 2 and a half hours later they pulled him out.
The first time she got a putiocin (sp?) drip and went into hard labor, she she didn't even think she was going into labor this time.
I watched the whole c-section, its not as bad as some say, mostly just wreaked of burning flesh. They pulled him out and he got a 9.9 on the apgar (sp?). I guess its a 1-10 scale and the nurses were even bragging to other nurses about it. I'm super stoked, hes way healthy and thats all that metters. They brought him into the recovery room and he started snacking on boob right away, latching on no prob.
his name is Jonathan Howard Graves we're gonna call him Jonny. Howard is my dads name...he got a little choked up when i told him.
Both baby and mommy are home right now and everyone is doing well, my older one is really excited to help to

aw man, too bad. I know which PTs you are talking about. Not going to be making any rides for the next month or 2. Basically its 6 weeks until she is fully recovered and until then I'm going to try to help her as much as I can with the 2 boys. I guess I'm going to have to hurry and get a toy hauler so I can bring the whole fam out

I like that last photo where he has one eye closed and is looking at mom as if "Hey lady, where's the food?".
