Need help with 2004 crf450 head stay

Post by Hoplite »

Hey guys , just wondering if I could pick your brains for a minute . I'm in need of some help with my head stay , I've been searching for the" add a block" method as mentioned in an old thread but haven't been able to find it. Then I was going to buy one from cp500 but they cant say if it will work for an 04 , with the exchange rate ( I'm in Canada ) and not combining shipping it's not risk I'm looking to take . Any info would be appreciated , thanks

Also is there a reason you went side to side as oppose to putting a lug on the beam? Like stress on the frame ( keeping it like the original design)
