CR500 Snowbike build.. Need wild porting

Post by n16ht5 »

So I am building a CR500AF Timbersled LT... I have the top end off waiting for new cylinder to come in. I have Pulse Induction and will be running a CPI pipe.

I need as much top end HP as possible from porting now. I want it to rev and hit like a 125. I know GSS porting removes the exhaust bridge and raises the duration but I don't know the specs.. Has anyone on here done similar? Should I have the cylinder nikasiled?

Thanks

The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Interesting, I am doing the same thing right now, except with an ST kit.

Few questions for ya:
What springs and oil are you going to run in the forks?
Are you doing anything for lighting?

Thanks

I remember there being quite a bit of talk on here that GSS isnt the shop it used to be. I would look around before deciding to have them do your work.
