cylinder boring

Post by mocr13 »

ive got a question proably dumb but just need to know I was always under the impression that Honda went to the nikasil coated cylinders 1989 and if you had a cylinder before 1989 you could bore it if you had a 1989 or later you couldn't bore it at all, you had to resleeve it,but I see people talking about newer cylinders being bored out am I wrong in the 89 on cant be bored? or is something else going on that people resleeve then bore new sleeve whenever needed? any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated! thanks mocr13
