Some remove it for full race apps.
But mostly take .003-.004 thou off after boring the cylinder. making sure the transition from bridge to cylinder is gradual, within an 1/8", and smooth.

Thanks. I thought I took enough off the bridge, next time Im sending it out, but for now Im building a 500af, I mainly woods ride and with the 500 its got to be real bad to be gutless, when I bought it I ran it 2 seasons, before it started hard and found it was running on one ring, they never cut bridge!
