I saw Kermit...started laughing, Kids were sitting with my wife, they are pretty young probably wouldn't get it, but I didn't want to ruin Kermit for them just yet.

Every has their " Pet-Peeve".... mines crooked silencers.

On my build I hung it crooked.... hated it... and remounted ir correctly.

Image

I had to build this little "Dipsy-Doodle" to go around the subframe, but I'm glad that I did....

Image

Most of the A/F's you see at the dunes have the silencer all torn up on the inside from the paddle hitting it..... because its angled in. Not mine.

Piru MX April 22nd

Post by K-dogg »

Here are some photos of the Gen 5 at Piru MX.

Before the track day we did re-spring the suspension, .49kg/mm up front and 5.7kg/mm for the shock.

The bike handled the track great!

Cannot keep them all.

(I would like to keep it being the first one, but my brother says, "sell".)

We have number two to build. Plus I would like to build a Gen 5 CR150R

We will see, I just purchased a 1990 CR500R in great shape, and looking at a 2001 CR250R motor. I also have a 2005 CR125R motor waiting for some engine work.

What to build next? Build them all?

All Gen 5's

500R?
250R or a 250 bored and stroked?
150R (I need to find a 2010-2012 CRF250R rolling chassis)?

Long live the two stroke.

Looks sweet, still loving my bike and those billet parts of yours were great.
if there's one thing dad likes more than serenity… it's a two stroke engine on full throttle!
