87' CR500 trades????

Post by 87CR500Rider »

To save some time, I will not part the 87' out.

I have a mostly complete 87' CR500 leftover from the abandoned AF project. The engine is not original to the chassis. It was an ebay find to replace the original engine that went into the AF. Condition unknown. It has decent compression and shifts through the gears. It has been welded on the bottom of the case. Basically everything is there to make a complete bike. I'm sure there's a few nuts and bolts missing but the major parts are there. I have 2 cans of "flash red" paint to go with it and possibly extra forks and an Ohlins shock (needs rebuild). I am looking for a 93' or later CR500 rolling chassis or a 93-96' CR250 project. Blown up 250? No problem, I always rebuild before I ride. What you got?

Finally took some pics. I found new Braking rotors for both ends. Not pictured are the electronics, carb and ignition cover. I have those as well.
