Post by Kenny H »

I have a '05 crf250/500 conversion and I need to know is there anybody out there that sell's a gas tank that does not need to be melted to fit a '05 crf250r frame? I bought my 1st tank that fit perfect but came with a hole in the seam and came from "Animalpower500.com", do not deal with this man. Please help me out.

I have a pre-formed Acerbis tank that Aliso Bob did for me. It fits perfect, but interferes with my steering damper post. It fits a Gen-4 250 frame, in my case the 06 CRF250X. I am going to assume it will be the same for the 05 CRF250R. You can loan or buy this. Message me.

I have a 05 250X tank modded. I went back to an "R" tank. $40 and it's yours.

FYI, we have some modified OEM tanks on our website if anyone else was looking for one.

Just thought I'd let you all know.

Thanks,
