Bought a 07 ktm 250sxf with a 95 kx500 in it off craigslist the other day, yup it was just for the hell of it ,and the fact I stupidly took my perfect running af500 apart sold the motor and started building a tricker one , yes you all know what I am talking about, better lighter faster, anyway don't have any time to finish building the Honda right now,, so having fun riding the KT WAKKER... question is anybody know what carb was on the 2004 kx500 ? mine has a pkw airstyker 38 ,, runs fine starts great ,, just wondering ,, kawi still has the carb available new , think it was a 39 stock?????

it would have been a 39 stock, they might call it a 39.5, just the large non airstriker.
I think Rob found that the genuine Honda cr250 pwk (same carb) is cheaper from oem dealers like mrcycles.com than a carb from sudco or CPW
