I have been lurking around this site for a couple of months, my membership wasn't allowing me to log on until today. I'm up here in Alaska and am currently working on a 2007 CRF250R conversion. My plans are to run it mostly as a snowbike, with a homemade kit. I've run a Ktm 525sx on the snow for the last 3 years, 2 years on a 2moto and last year on my own homebuilt kit. I finally decided to go back to the 2-stroke like the snowmachines I came from. lightweight, simple, and powerful. I work for a small air charter company in Kenai, AK as an aircraft mechanic. I have been greatly helped in my conversion by all the info you guys have available. I'm excited to get this conversion finished up and on the dirt and snow. I'll post some pics and info from my build soon. Thanks for a great forum.
