Nuthin special

Post by Tharrell »

Nuthin special here but thought I'd post something to get my mind off the bombs in Boston.
Went out last weekend with my riding buddy Will and his son Dominic.
Will rides a 1980 CR250.
He restored it about 10 years ago and rides it all the time.
Nic coated the cylinder, works shocks 1982 CR480 forks, Dunlop 756, extended the swingarm 2 inches.
His boy rides a CRF50.
Of course there has to be a 500 in here so I ride my '92 CR500.
It's running rich down low and spooging on the swingarm as you can probably see.
The rubber was missing between the silencer and pipe, it's back on now.
Also took the Gnarley off to polish a little cuz it looked like some rust was forming and found out there were no 'O" rings in the manifold.
Know what that means, spooge all over the front of the engine.
Just happen to have that FMF kit with 2 rings and 2 springs in my toolbox.
Of course, Clarence had to come with us.
He always takes a swim when we get to the creek.

Dude. Dirt bikes, kids, dogs, woods. What the hell more special could you ask for?

Out blazin' trails again and had to have a break at the creek.
Dominic had to make some steps across the creek and Clarence had to get a drink and cool his balls! :)
Taught Dominic how to skip stones and he's getting pretty good.
He's about ready to move up to a CRF70.
He's already outgrown his mx boots.
