2006 CRF 250 CONVERSION

Post by brickmason »

Ok what air box boot combo should i use to complete my project. Im trying to use the stock 500 airboot but it seems a bit short and the carb need to be tilted up a bit. Im worried it may pull away from the carb. The engine a 1992 cr500 rebuilt to stock, v force 3 reeds. Thanks Its getting sunny in Washougal and i want to ride this thing!!!!!

When we did our 04 CRF, we used the stock 500 boot with a plexiglass spacer betweeen the box and the boot. (@ 1/2in. on ours). Aliso did the same on his.

Easy -Peasy..... The clear lexan lets you see exactly where you need to poke the holes....
