Just brought home the cobra! It needs a clutch and I already got a centerforce from summit! This weekend it gets a new clutch and the ford racing diff cover/girdle.

So, a little update... I replaced the clutch and rear diff cover, poly diff bushings and changed out all of the fluids. Basically a once over and have been driving it for a week. Needless to say I am happy with the decision, the car is a fucking riot to drive, spins those 295 BFG KDW2s like nothing and is a riot in the corners. For once there is nothing I really want to do to the motor... I might upgrade to a Kenne Bell or Whipple and run e85 later but for now I am going to focus on suspension and brakes. I get some nasty bump steer and body flex which are very common so I will be adding subframe and strut tower braces, do front and rear bumpsteer kits and all of the bushings. the factory bilsteins that the cobras have perform great and the H&R race springs are really nice so I don't think I will be messing with those other than caster/camber plates.
The original cobra brakes suck especially when compared to the GT500 stock brembos. I can convert it over and already have the 18" wheels to clear them.
Much like a CR500 much more can be improved in suspension than motor.

so I got myself a gopro hero3 black this weekend and put a mount on the front airdam. Took it for a quick test and realized that I need a stiffer mount and to run the open cover for sound. it is very muffled with the sealed case.
