Ok here I am going up sand mountain UT no problems, I ran like three times cooling down every run, the forth time the engine started falling on its face, just as it was running out of gas, surging a few times. I thought to my self that it had something to do with fuel level, I checked it and I had 1/2 tank so I filled and the problem went away. I think the fuel valve wont flow enough for my mods and I havn't ported yet. anyone have this problem and is there an easy solution. Thanks for any help. Sorry for the long winded story.

Remove the outlet on the tank, and toss that factory screen thats on there....
Then add a high flow " inline" fuel filter.
That screen dosent flow shit...

Just thought I would give an update!!
I have been fighting this problem for a long time now. I have put a pingle fuel valve on and still the same problem.
The fix, modified fuel cap breather. No more problems.
Thanks guy's

Don't use those cheap aftermarket breathers.
My mate put his bike in the garage after we were riding and turned off the fuel tap.
Stinking hot day,a few hours later he went back to the garage to get some
coldies and there's fuel all over the place.
The fuel tank had huge splits on both sides.
Keep it real, Keep it steel.

Yeah I always wondered why people wanted to pressurize their tanks.
I guess the real ones have a one-way vent. I'd rather just stick with the hose.
