Maybe not as deep and as Dark. I'm from Durban, South Africa. We got some great rides out here caters for everyone. I've been drooling over CR500's since I was a lightie (kid to the rest of the world) and finally bought an 04 250F and 89 500 lump.
I feel this is going to be a multi year project with the main aim getting the running engine into the Ally frame. Once I got a working bike the titification process will continue into bling and a full engine overhaul after I get my 00 250 Lump into another 250f roller so I have something to ride during the interim (but lets not focus on that). All in all glad to have found this site, if you're coming to Africa give me a shout and we'll have to hook up.

Im also from SA joburg i built my af its a gen3 cr250 2stroke
with a 2000 cr500 motor... best bike iv ever owned and been
ridding it since 09 ride after ride with no shit whatsoever.
I used the 250 ignition to run the motor and you can read all the
info guys have shared here to do that...but best of luck with your
build i bet you cant wait
