Just wondering if we can rally the troops to meet up some where for a desert ride.
I am really out of shape have`nt road since Pismo a few years ago and did not ride more than a few min. then
"the game of life of is not so much in holding a good hand as playing a poor hand well"
I have been riding about every other weekend straight through summer. i live in North San Diego and im ready to ride anytime. Bob since its a dual sport ride i imagine it will be on road some of the time correct?
moto ing as much as life permits, about once a week on average. I have great rides right out of the garage if anyone wants to come this way. I could lead an amazing dual sport ride too. Been ripping my BRP a lot. Hoonfest in a few months and I will be at that for sure. Rode Rico this summer as well as Durango. I'll be hitting some Stoneyford as I get snowed out of some of my local stuff and I'm going to try hard to ride with Mojo and the NW boys for the 4th of July.
I ride alone way too much because everyone who used to ride is stopping, I'm looking into getting a spot or something. keep us informed on the dual sport I have an unused hall pass right now.
My TG group has pretty much disbanned. I my have to be in Palm Desert that sunday. Was thinking about hitting a local track saturday. Perris is open only two short doubles I should be able to clear.
rode the 650 and the 500 this weekend...still gettin it!!!
That 650 swallows whoops like nothing else on the planet. I was dicing through the woods chasing a 26 year old on a 450....I'm loving that 650 as much as I love the 500.
I love the 500 for it's light feel, but it really likes to be riddin not lollygagged. I ride alone a lot, most of my old riding buddies have basically quit. The 650 is cool because you can just cruise but if you catch up to people or something the thing will get down. Ultra stable at speed, swallows whoops while sitting down drinking a soda and quite nimble for its size. Its a good trail maker too...you go through one time and it's pretty much established. I'm working on a new trail that will be about 45 miles when finished, really technical and through a section of hills that is esentually untouched. Plenty of quad filters and ultra sneaky entrance.
Despite sampling large amounts of Elsinore dirt over the weekend, my appetite for riding is restored. A track day or dual-sport (green sticker) ride would be great! Please post.
I don't live close enough or I would post up weekly....I ride right out of the garage and have some great trails...more in the works. 2 pretty decent tracks both maintained are rideable from the house as well.
