The rmz was pretty easy the standard cr500 air boot fitted into the air box new frame rails and didn't need to mod the pipe at all. I am on the hunt now for a exc so I can have it regoed in wa

Are you hitting your top foot of the peg when kicking? My foot hurts so bad after a weekend It's making me want to build a E-start.

Wow nice looking bike, KTMs seem to be popping up more and more, congrats Workmanship and eye for detail is top notch. Looks like you could have pushed it off a showroom floor. How does it compare to the AF?

How does it compare to the AF?
the good
lighter (i got 217 dry with flex bars, handguards, skidplate, steel clutch plates, steel shock body)
easier to work on
10 second airfilter change
set up for woods the rear suspension is way better
more effort required to steer, but with the proper effort it will steer better/sharper (will feel weird at first)

the bad
terrible brakes (dont let anyone tell you otherwise brembo suck balls)
radiators dont have any tanks on top so the only way to tell if theres anything in it is to overfill it (unless you have an overflow bottle)
seat feels like this
Image
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

LOl on the seat pic, but I sure its no laughing matter after a few hours in the saddle. Thanks for the detailed reply, certainly have a better understanding of where the bikes compare, the radiators are something I certainly did not know, the air fillter change would be great. I'll stick with my Gen 4.

enduro engineering makes a seat that is comfortable
a small overflow bottle will cure the not being able to see coolant problem

if you can adjust to the ktm steering its a better bike, but theres guys that cant get used to it
