My AFC is going on the market.

My AFC is going on the market. It's a 2008 CRF250 roller with a 97 CR500 engine.

Most everyone knows the history of the hell I went through with my AFC.

I've sold 30 bikes or, and my bikes are kept up better than I keep the wife ;-) Not once have I had someone come look at one of my bikes and not buy it. This bike is unique, and drove me crazy when I first got it. However with a lot of elbow grease, and TLC she is very respectable.

After rebuilding the bike she's runs like a champ.

I'm going in for some surgery, and I need a new project.

Tomorrow I'll post some pics, and a price.

I'm debating selling her as a package or alone. I'm towards the later.

I have a spare custom engine, motard wheels (Excels), various gaskets, Lectron carb, Brembo front MC, spare filter (new), and original wheels (there crap, but probably worth a few bucks).

In the last few weeks I just got the title. I have not put in my name YET!

3 weeks ago she got new wheels mounted, and the carb was rebuilt. The back tire is brand new, and the front has 2 hours on it.

The bike NOT perfect, but 110% better than when I got it thanks to the members here. I'm guessing the last owner hit a rock on the crankcase side. It's bent upwards. Obviously this area doesn't hold fluid so in my mind it's not a big deal.

Tomorrow I'll snag some pics of everything.

The some what finished product. Man was it a lot of work. It's not perfect by any means, but the next owner should be happy.

I'm also selling my motard wheels w/Brembo MC, and spare engine.

My new toy is arriving in 2 weeks so I need to get rid of her.

Contact me if interested via PM.

A lot of time has gone into this bike. My wife said it had to go if I wanted the other toy.

Sold.

Lost my ass on this one big time.

Thank you to everyone (especially Bob) that helped me get the bike into shape.

Next time I'm building my own.

The new toy arrives this week it looks like.

I've still have the 300XC for dirt dirty.

This will be my new street toy if everything goes according to plan this week.

She's been on order for a long time now.

SWEET ! I recently test rode the Multistrada, which is only the Tesstestressa 3 engine (1198, wet clutch, 6 speed) and that was pretty impressive ! Love the 1199 Panigale, but too hard on my poor old back around town . . . . . Mate, I know you'll enjoy that ! ! !
