So i got the frame done today and il post pics asap, i did have to cut the y but i ground it out and made it look stock and i used built 7/8'' bar to space out the y and crade/engine mount. Just need make the frount mounts and get everthing welded and build a over kill head stay

it looks kinda crapy but after its welded and filled and filed and sanded and polished you will never know its was there.

Use the late style kicker, '89 on?
your pipe question is only going to get the opinion of the responder, there are several threads discussing pipes, run what you have report on it then ask what pipe will give you more top end or more bottom or you may find that it is just right.

get the 89-01 kicker so it will clear the low-boy pipe you have to use, it has like a funky c twist in the middle to get around the tail section of the pipe. On the 86 your pipe goes over the top of that kicker so I'd think it will interfere.

Polished or not you got some dedication to do all that work, looks right nice. I myself dont do shiney I like to ride more than show & shine. Eastwood does make a chrome powdercoat, havent used it yet, it might be the magical answer of low maintenance though.

I take pride in my work and the customers that come in to my work are hells angles and what not and they need there bike to be perfect and able to cold start and run at full power for a same reason as i do but for diffent REASON's lol. cr500 + cops = lol 15-48 is the best ratio with a cops ', the problem with police cars is there side wall is so high for off roading the have limters that shut them down at 110mph how ever it take them 72 secs to get to that speed and and 5-6ish secs from 0-60

I will be using a low pipe, i would love to see a high pipe af tho lol

thanks for the info on the kick start

We're still lying to ourselves for childish pointless reasons, because someone told you an 86 was the best motor ever made. What you have, my friend, is an 85!!! I've told you this several times now, read the numbers off for us so we can have a pissing match. Why you keep insisting it's an 86, I don't know  Oh, right: "I take pride in my work and the customers that come in to my work are hells angles and what not and they need there bike to be perfect and able to cold start and run at full power for a same reason as i do but for diffent REASON's lol. cr500 + cops = lol 15-48 is the best ratio with a cops ', the problem with police cars is there side wall is so high for off roading the have limters that shut them down at 110mph how ever it take them 72 secs to get to that speed and and 5-6ish secs from 0-60 " Nothing but the best, hence the 86 motor.

Don't worry boys, the rest of the bike is in good hands. Image
And yes, I know how to post pics.
Make a joke and I will sigh, and you will laugh, and I will cry.
