1985 Radiator Hoses...??

Post by Speedway73 »

Allright guys....The old original hoses on my '85 500 are nearly caput. What are my options?? Anyone make a complete replacement silicone hose kit for the '85?? Still using the original '85 style clutch cover too.

Thanks,

Roger

If you guy's are talking about the hose that goes to the back of the cylinder head to the water pump I used two molded hoses out of a crf450 02-04 with a union in between. The CRF450 hose kit is about @25 on ebay.I used a piece of 058 CM tubing for the splice but I'm sure you could make one out of about anything.
