Water pump gear and impeller question

Water pump gear and impeller question

Could anybody tell me if there is any differences in water pump gear,shafts,and impellers from 85-01?

The part numbers dont match and the 85 shaft is discontinued but they look the same so they might be.

85 gear is metal not plastic
03 CRF450/85 500
