jr mods ohio build
alright, i am soo close to being done. all frame mods, tank mods, radiators.... and so on are done... but i have one friggin thing left. the airbox. my motor is an 88, and my carb is hitting the spring. what year reed cage and box boot do i need bob? your doing the same build i am, and i see yours is done. what did you use? by the way i didnt need to relief my case for the spring, just misses.. id post pics, but im on my phone, but as soon as computers back up, ill post em
I think in 2006, the "X" model got the "R" linkage, and thats why the shock clears.
My reed block / mouth piece is late model ( 93' and later) and my boot is off a late model steelie, with a lexan adapter plate to the stock CRF airbox.
Check out the builds that followed mine.. I think they used a CR250R boot, and its much cleaner...
Stoffers? Dat' true?
