I've got a stock R tank (unmodded) from an 04 450R if that would work for you.

dif between R and X? X tank holds more and fits wierd on an R frame
or the dif between 250 and 450 tank? I know that the 450 and 250 shrouds are different so I am assuming that the 450 tank won't fit on the 250

I just bought one of those ebay no mod tanks, exept now I have to redo the right rad and use my spare head because I have the 2 into 1 manifold and the petcock on the ebay tank is right in the way. Thanks for the reply

Nice. Thanks Bob, I had no trouble forming the tank, just hate how the X tank fits. It seems to flare out my shrounds to where they are not sitting flat on the sides of the rads and my seat is all F'd up where it meets the tank. Guess I will be "buying it now" ebay again.

The black Acerbis looks better I think.

The natural Acerbis forms easier ( it turns clear when it reaches moldable temp)

The "R" model tank fits both the "R" and "X" chassis.
