Newbie from Hurricane, Utah

Post by Rundell »

Hi all, Love the site. I am purchasing a 87 CR 500 this weekend but I haent seen it yet. Its from a freind of a freind but I can get it for $100.00.It will need a new top and bottom end. I want to do a AFC with the motor and part out the rest of the bike. I can get a hold of a 2004 CRF Frame for $75.00, but its the frame only is it worth messing with that and purchasing everything else or should I just go buy a cheap 125 or 25 rolling chassis?

Welcome - and it always starts out that way...
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...
