Tom's XR650R

Post by AlisoBob »

My buddies wife had some of Brits Hoonshine last night... one thing let to another... some BIG talk was made.... and here is the result.....

2003, Calif. PLATED, all stock... only thing missing is one bolt in the kick stand mount.

Looks like 95% of its life was spent on asphalt.

I drove to Palm Springs to pick it up... Guy wanted $3500, I paid $3k for it because of the missing bolt, the rear blinkers were not working (had a bad crimp on the ground wire, simple fix) and the idle is kinda weird, hangs up sometimes.

Might be the throttle cables, I havent had time to look at it yet.

Angie is going to slip it under the tree tonight, Tom's gonna FREAK!!!!!

Its a Hondapotumus kinda' Christmas!!!!!

Tom's in for the Mojave Trail and X-Plane ride....

The Banned D/S Klub got another member.... All due to Brits Hoonshine...

Gotta love it!!!!
