How to remove chain adjuster assemblies

What do I have to do in order to remove the whole adjuster assembly from out of the swingarm. I've removed all the fasteners but the thing won't budge. Do I need a slide hammer or stick some kind of bent rod in the pivot access hole and bang it out??

there is glue on the inside also.

Use a torch till it lets out a puff of smoke, then a hammer and punch or screwdriver to pop them out.
