You seem to be in a mad rush...slow down and enjoy yourself, it will come together alot easier as well....Unless your Bob of corse, with a resipricating saw & a six pack, you'd get it done in a w/end.

getting ready to form fuel tank after a big glass of wine.
My test for leaks. Tank full of water over a paper towel. High tech.
So far no large leaks or quick seeping. I'll check the towel in a few hours.
Anyone know if gas is thinner than water? In other words: Will gas seep through a hole that water may not?

I'm down to the cooling system (re-fab radiators and head coolant lines) and headstay!
I started her just for a few seconds to test my wiring and 2 real kick fired off! I had to extend the wiring from CDI to case and to new coil position. Sounds very good and responsive after the rebuild (for the few seconds I could run it).
I'm stoked! Next weekend baby!!!

Thank you to all the people who provided parts, ideas and support. There was no way in hell I would have got this done without the guys on this site.
Ride report will be after the coming weekend.

your front brake line should run on the inside of the fork leg though.
Agreed. You're likely to hook that sucker on something headed down a trail. Bad news.

I think it is a TTM 2 into 1 outlet adapter and I'm not sure how to get them. I wasn't going to do it that way but thats what I had. Not sure if that guy is trustworthy yet.
I wanted to put on Solid Bro's stuff but I couldn't get a hold of him.
I will let you know if I have any problems with it.

I need to go through the normal pre-ride stuff. I just wanted a pic before the sun went down.
I got the starting technique down now so I can start it on flat ground. This thing just sounds angry.

Went for a test ride before I go out to BFE tomorrow for a weekend of riding.
Engine is strong. I do need to fiddle with the carb and put my smaller front sprocket on to make it 14/50 instead of 15/50. I imagine something trying to escape from hell and I'm on it.
Seems like all the leaks are gone (minus a coolant line I forgot to tighten).
Front suspension is very stiff for square edge hits, will play with oil levels and settings. Rear seems closer to what I want, at least till I hit a motocross track. as a base I used Motocross Action settings for it.
Moving this around is odd. It feels lighter than my 125 and the ol steelie. Not sure why, it can't be much different . Pushing it in the truck feels way easier ???
Off to the trails for the weekend!

This thing is great. I feel very planted on the trails and on fire roads I hit the corners way faster. If the rear breaks loose just use a bit of throttle control to slide it sideways. I never rode the 125 that way. Pullin a long wheelie out of a tight corner is unexplainable.
Suspension felt great on everything except rocky areas will be the only downfall. I will try my air cells on the forks when I find a good mounting point.
The engine is good till she warms up all the way then it's to lean, but it stayed together and is a grin maker for sure. I love the wide powerband. I'm curious what the top speed is so I'll take the GPS next time. Motocross will be the next test.
I'll post pic of the final bike when I'm done changing plastics and goodies.

Raced on the MX track and found some more stuff to change. Front is to soft and I will be go to a stiffer front rate. The midrange getting is still off due to an needle I found wasn't stock.
Any luck with JD jetting?
The race went well for working out bugs and cobwebs. 7th out of 11 in my class. I think it scared some people when I started it. : )
