that is wy a 450 led the 1st few days of the last African Paris- Dakar,
it was a proto type then

christini did the first production based 2wd 2wheeler and everyone has been developing after they did it and saw it worked quite well :D

really curios to see how he got it to run without a flywheel?????????
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

The ohlins system was super $$$ and it used a hyd style vane pump if I remember right. The Christini is a lot lighter and more compact. They had a stand set up at vendors row at the Desert 100 in WA in 07.

The 500 on the other hand looks like a farm implement. Yikes
If if doesn't kill you, it hurts like hell.

that 500 looks like something I would have come up with in shop class when I was in high school. Look at the bright side, it would have to prevent fork flex. If it didnt the damn chain would be jumpin off ALL the time. Imagine lockin the front wheel up off a 70ft double. lol.
