Shock rebuild parts

Post by honda02 »

Anyone out there know where I can get rear shock rebuild parts for a 1983 CR480 rear shock seal ect.

And what shims I should use in the rear shock for the valve stack.

I'll contact Race Tech and see what they have available.
As far as a shim stack that will depend on your weight, age, skill level, and the kind of riding you will be doing.
More to come..

Racetech has it all.
This is their quote:
Shock Oil and Dust Seal Set (set) SSOS 14S $23.99
Shock Shaft Bushing (each) SMSB 1410 $9.99
Bottom-Out Bumper (each) SSBO 144944 $24.99
Reservoir Bladder (each) SSBL 485095 $19.99
Oil $29.99
If you order their gold valve (Which I didn't ask about) they will give you a multitude of shim combo's depending on all your riding factors.
