gen 2 scotts steering damper

Post by kevin_s »

For those of you that have a gen 2 honda and want a steering damper, the only choice is a GPR damper.
If you have a scotts damper you can buy the GPR frame post and you can make it work.

Good to know.
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

Why is the GPR the only choice? I have a Scotts on my 01 af. Its a Low mount. NOT a sub mount, a LOW mount, it mounts between the fender and the lower triple clamp.

Not my bike, but the same mount.

I have a scotts mounted on my '01, I think it was an option that came from SH, it mounts to the bar clamps if I recall correctly.
Gen 2 AF, yes it's a SH, so I can call it an AF Damm it!
