Need some help with rear shock.

Post by TYSTYX »

I did a search and couldn't find anything. I need some help please. The suspension on my 99 was re-sprung for my weight by Racetech. I've got the correct static and race sag dialed in but have some questions about the shock adjusters. I am trying to increase the rebound dampening and decrease the compression dampening, but it seems that when I adjust the rebound it equally affects the compression stroke at the same time.In other words when I increase the rebound dampening the compression dampening also increases and when I back off on rebound the compression backs off as well.

Are both of the circuits combined?? I messed with the low and high speed compression adjusters and really cant feel any difference in the compression stroke. It is just as stiff as the rebound stroke. It doesn't make sense that I cant separate the two strokes. Any help or input is much appreciated.

Never mind. I figured it out on my own and got everything dialed in this past weekend.
