batts

Post by kball1313 »

I bought those before and they work pretty good to maintain the lighting on the street. Had one that size in my 650r as well as the steely tard. I found a guy selling backup house alarm batts that are sealed 1.2ah batts and are barely bigger. That one seems to hold up better when i'm stuck in traffic because the output of the SH ign struggles to keep up at low speed, even though all my lights are led aside from the headlight.

I'm still trying to adapt a high/low beam shutter style xenon projector to my cyclops on the af motard that I saved from my days working with BMW. The cheap-swap in a hid bulb into a regular lens don't even compare.

Not the same seller, but same dimensions. The AA style cells seemed to not hold much of a reserve for a 1000ma rating.

Here's another one that the KTM/Yama guys are starting to use to cut some pounds off e-start machines. Lithium Iron- the Shorai one, lot more $ though

Naaaa.... the one that came with the bike is old and only runs the lights for a minute.....

Baja Designs wants $40 for their pack

This chinese cheap-o ran the headlight on high beam with the blinkers on for 5 minutes before I shut it off.

Seems to do the trick

the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.
