Here is the add, just so after it's gone we can look back and remember :bong:

"Hey there junior badass, ever feel like there's a caged animal trapped inside of you?

Only one cure for that: getting a fucking sick motorcycle. A 1971 Honda CB350. This golden lady will get you to work like a full-blown go hard, transport you and your shotgun through the zombie apocalypse, and give you a new platform for barreling down the boulevard with the wind tearing at your clothes screaming, "I AM ALIVE!" on the way to fucking bikram yoga.

Runs like corn through a goose. Engine rebuilt a year ago with ~400 miles on it since then.

I put new tires on the old girl, because you don't deprive a classy lady of classy shoes. I gave her a new chain because she needed some fucking jewelry.

Electric start, kickstart, fucking push start, you name it.

Why am I selling it? Cos being alive rules, and I'm far too gnarly of a dude to have a motorcycle. I see a ramp, I'm gonna hit that motherfucker going 300 mph, backflip over the 405.

$2300 gets you the Golden Lady, two helmets, some fucking saddlebags, a shop manual, a quart of oil (plus all the oil that's up in her right now), a full tank of PREMIUM MOTHERFUCKING GASOLINE (91 octaaaaaannneeee), some links to my favorite YouTube videos, a short story about robots, a cup of coffee with me, and whatever kind of donut you want. "
Gen 2 AF, yes it's a SH, so I can call it an AF Damm it!

He's just trying to sell his bike.
To him, maybe he's lived during that period and it means more to him than younger guys.
Honda sold a shitload of those bikes, they were popular.
I've read worse and seen worse.
I always thought the CB450 was cool because it's a double overhead cam and kinda looks like a Triumph.
The CL450 Scrambler looks like a flat tracker with it's massive upswept chrome pipes.
I had a 1971 CL175 Scrambler back in the day.
I actually have a 1971 CB450 I'm restoring now.

I had an RZ350 with protopipes on it....yeah maybe I looked a little big for it but that bike ripped, it smoked everything up through the Santa Cruz mountains. It was the yellow and black one, wish I still had it.

Thats awesome! I havent been around here lately because I got balls deep into my RD400, now its my daily driver! Here is how it started:

Rebuilt motor, re did oil injection, pipes, new tail/seat, body work, paint ect...

My 350 that I picked up a while back and worked on as I built my 400. This guy is getting shoved into the corner though. I really want to put my 85 CR5 in an AF. It will be awhile, but I gotta build a beer can.

I still frequent the site and appreciate all the info and knowledge you guys lay out! :buddies:

That's a nice looking old RD mate, but seriously, get someone else to re-cover your seat for ya. It's a detail like that spoiling the ship for a ha'pennth of tar, as the old expression goes. They were fun to ride, too !
