Any chance you could load a default size for avatars?
Some are so friggen big you have to scroll the page to read everything.

Where? Everything is sized ok on my computer?

vipers thread in the introduction forum.. His is waaaaaaay huge.. There is a option in PHPBB to limit the size of the avatar.

Admin panel - General Administration - Configuration, scroll down to avatar settings then adjust as necessary.. file size limit, dimension limits I dont know if they changed the admin panel in the latest releases since im running an older version.. but that should get you in the general department..

150x150 pixles is what i have DDR set at and zr2nw.com is set at 100x100 those are both reasonable sizes for avatars if you ask me. With those options enabled if someone try's to upload something larger than the limits it will tell them to please try again

Done.. its was 150x150... now its 100x100.

if it was already at 150x150 how did viper get around it.. hmmmmmm

Yo Bob. As a reference, your Gorilla is 155x151.
Our banner pictures are 150x120.

That setting is for how big an UPLOADED avatar can be.

I'm looking at how to limit the size of a LINKED avatar...

heh.. i didnt look too deep into it... i thought linked was affected as well as uploaded.. hmmmmm

Found a solution. I'll put it in when I get more time to fiddle.

MFDB's is 320x240

run a higher resolution! I run 2 20" screens side by side at 1280x1024, I can't even see your avatar!
