Well guys I just discovered hell on earth
the finke desert race is not something that you want to try when your unfit
and having a diet of fast food and beer
although saying this I did make it there and back within the time set
after a good run down on sunday I jumped from position 431 down to 320
Monday morning sucked ass as the caster oil spilt from the race fuel
got the thing going after about 20 mins
when my gate was up I left it slowly as the bike was running about the 110degree mark
got it cooled down by the 10k mark then got on it
the fast road section was good . The poor 450s were running out of legs and I was just clicking into 5th gear( shitbox 4 smokes)
I passed a few like they were standing still .
I had more power then sence with this bike
about 3.30 hours later I got to the line.
Body still aches like fuck but i would do it all again
as was said to me today. I completed australia's hardest sprint race
I am happy with that alone. But I have to say Bean smoked me he got position 101 out of 500 riders

How were your legs after it? last year i couldn't walk down stairs for a week
Just above my knee caps hurt like fuck, plenty of squats helped this year(even if it was for on day).

Are you and Been going next year?

I wanted to die after the race was over
hands were swollen and blistered
legs went to jelly and ribs were killing me since I broke em 2 months before the race.
Next year will be a different thing.
This time I will get training in before I race.
