Saturday evening we packed everyone up and headed to Moab to ride Slickrock. The experience was unique and very, very cool. If you ever get the opportunity, I highly recommend it.

Nice lil lines that mark the "trail" - although I would get tired of looking down to follow the dashes.

I always hear Moab correlated with Mountain Bikes. MX and MTN Bike people don't always play nice  . I seen some in the vids - they give u any shit?

Just for a lil fun, some marks should be redone, leading to bushes or something -

Notice I did a lot of that in the vids. Kinda had to at some parts. Not something you can safely ignore. Blind rises to drop offs etc.

Nada. Kinda intimidating when there were 18 of us coming at them. Pretty much stepped aside and let us through. All were smiling.... this time.

Finally getting into some decent singletrack. I'm just starting to have fun and get into a flow now that I'm not gawking at all the scenery. Several of the "fast" guys are starting to get gassed. I know I'm not a fast guy. I'm either a slow "fast" guy or a fast "slow" guy. Either way, I always seem to end up between the 2 groups by myself when I go on group rides.

Then disaster strikes...

I bashed the clutch cover into my clutch...
Excuse me, I "Race Clearanced" my clutch cover.

Then I spent the next 20 minutes basically watching another guy pound the dent back and JB Weld the crack shut. We were close enough to the truck, I was prepared to just ride it back, but he insisted we just fix it right there.

Finished product.

It still rattles.

So after a good days ride, what does a CR500 riding (not me obviously) Hoon order at the mexican restaurant?
